Speaker - Angela L. Walker

Angela has 23 years of experience in the health care, education, retail, and insurance industries. During that time she has been responsible for staffing/recruitment, training, human resources, and marketing. Angela has a degree in communications from The University of Alabama.


Angela volunteers as a trainer with the Christian Women’s Jobs Corps of Madison County teaching resume writing, interviewing skills, and job loss survival skills. She is a member of the North Alabama Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development where she serves as the communications and marketing chair. Additionally, she is a member of the Alabama Writer’s Conclave, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Huntsville Literary Association. Angela is an avid reader, writer, and blogger.


She is also a Certified Targeted Selection Interviewer and has a certificate in HR Staffing and Selection from Cornell University. In 2012, she earned her Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC). Angela is also a Certified Design Psychology Coach.
