Evenings with Wilder: A Billy Wilder Retrospective

Billy Wilder was one of the most provocative directors in the post-World War II era of American film. Join us as we watch five of his greatest films from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s at the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.

July 1 – Double Indemnity (1944)

July 8 – Sunset Boulevard (1950)

July 15 – Some Like it Hot (1959)

July 22 – The Apartment (1960)

July 29 – The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970)

All films will be shown in the second floor events room of the Main Library at 6:00 PM.
