How to Do Things: Make a “Navajo Knot Mug Rug”

Maximum number of students:  12.  To register, contact Sophie Young at 532-2362.

Open to adults and youth ages 14 and up.

Learn how to make a Navajo Knot, and make a rag rug using only your fingers, no tools.  You can make a mug rug in class, and continue working at home to make a trivet or full-sized rug.  Learn how to prepare the fabric strips and how to join the strips into round and oval rugs.  You’ll be recycling a worn pair of jeans.  No sewing experience is needed.

Crystal will bring all the tools and other supplies you’ll need to use during the workshop.  This workshop is provided by the Huntsville Fiber Guild.
