Library Explorers - Hudson Alpha

Each week a different guest will explore something AWESOME with us at the library. This week, our guest is Hudson Alpha. We'll be making Trait Bracelets! What makes you unique? In this activity we will use beads to represent common human traits. Participants will build a bracelet representing their unique combination of traits and compare those bracelets with others. DNA is the recipe for those traits. We will discuss how DNA plays a role human characteristics and how two people who look very different can be 99.9% the same.Grades K-2.
