Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance

General info
Meeting times:

N/A

Meeting location:

The Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance is an online resource for anyone
interested in learning more about the disease and exposure to asbestos. Mesothelioma
is often diagnosed later in life due to the latency period associated with asbestos
exposure. Symptoms may not appear until 25-40 years post initial exposure. Our
website provides the most up to date information on recent news, clinical trials,
top doctors and the advocacy work that we do to spread awareness of mesothelioma.
Patients that are diagnosed often need a level of caregiving and home care due to
treatment.

Notes or comments:

We do not have regular meetings although we do have awareness days, such as the Mesothilioma Awareness Day on September 26 (this is an annual Awareness holiday dedicated to mesothilioma) where we spread awareness and talk about mesothilioma to educate others about the disease and exposure to asbestos. Throughout the year we also periodically host tweet-chats and Facebook Live events that we will announce via our social media and blog.
