Bond…James Bond: The Connery Years - Dr. No

The adaptation of the James Bond books by Ian Fleming in the 1960’s spawned a franchise (and adventure-seeking fantasy for spy lovers everywhere) that has continued to this day. We will view the first four films of the series with the actor that invented the character on film, Sean Connery, at the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.

Dr. No (1962) Sean Connery, with Ursula Andress, Joseph Wiseman.  James Bond is sent to Jamaica to investigate the disappearance of a British agent. The trail leads him to the underground base of the diabolical Dr. No, who is plotting to disrupt an early American manned space launch with a radio beam weapon.

All films will be shown in the second floor events of the Main Library at 6:00 PM.
