Learn how to use the round knitting loom, rectangular knitting loom, knitting rake, knitting spool, knitting comb, etc. There are several variations of these peg style looms that allow you to knit without using knitting needles. You can knit on all of these looms using the same instructions. It's easy to use multiple strands of yarn held together and the novelty yarns on these looms.

In class, you will learn how to make a hat and scarf on the round knitting looms and a scarf on the knitting comb. Learn three different stitches and how to make stripes. Bring one or more skeins of worsted weight yarn and your own looms along with their "picks" so you can finish your hat and scarf at home. The leader will bring several looms for use in class.

Learn how to make a scarf on the rectangular loom (or knitting rake) with double sided fabric. Bring one or more skeins of yarn and your own loom and "pick" so you can finish your scarf at home.

Learn how to make a ruffled scarf on the knitting spool (with 8 pegs). Bring a skein of "ruffle" yarn (Red Heart Sashay is one brand) and your own knitting spool and "pick" so you can finish your scarf at home.

Learn how to arm knit an infinity scarf. Bring one skein of extra bulky (code 6) yarn (Homespun Thick ad Quick is one brand) or 2 skeins of bulky (code 5) yarn.

No knitting experience is required.

The leader will have several knitting looms for use in class. The leader will bring all the other supplies for use in class.

Please bring a sack lunch.
