Bookmobile featured in Sci-Quest 'Hands on Trucks' exhibit

Come out and see the HMCPL “Bookmobile” as part of Sci Quest's "Hands-on Trucks" exhibit this Saturday.

The event serves as a great opportunity to give families in our community an opportunity to learn more about HMCPL and bookmobile services.  The HMCPL Bookmobile will participate in many of the summer programs that will be offered by local school systems this year.  The Sci Quest "Hands-on Trucks" exhibit will allow the Bookmobile to be introduced to children that will be seeing the truck over the summer.

The Bookmobile will be issuing library cards; circulating materials (including a special selection of books about trucks); handing out special goodies; and showing other bookmobile features.

Everything from ice cream trucks to fire engines will be represented in the exhibit, as Sci-Quest assembles a variety of vehicles for this day of fun! Local organizations provide the vehicles for children to get a unique, close-up look and hands-on experience.

This event is free with general admission to Sci-Quest.
