In the Teen Volunteer Program, teens gain real job experience in a fun and educational environment while performing a valuable community service. Volunteers will be assisting in the Youth Services areas and will have various tasks and responsibilities. Volunteers will work no more than 4 hours per week in increments of 2 hours at a time. Teens must be 14-17 years old by June 1 to participate in the Teen Volunteer Summer Program. Please complete, sign, and return the downloadable form via the Volunteer Now button to your local Library branch or send to teenvolunteer@hmcpl.org.
If you are looking for volunteer hours to complete scholarship or merit requirements, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator by emailing teenvolunteer@hmcpl.org prior to applying as a volunteer.

Volunteers are recruited, placed, trained, recognized, and dismissed on the basis of competence and job performance, without regard to race, creed, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, marital status, disability, or political affiliation.
