Write Right Lunch & Learn: "Creating Compelling Characters"
Write Right Lunch & Learn: “Creating Compelling Characters”
Tuesday, October 9
12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
Main Library, 915 Monroe Street
Second Floor Events Room
Presenters: Rhonda Nelson and Kimberly Lang
The best plot in the world will fall flat without characters your readers love (or love to hate). Learn to create realistic, three-dimensional characters readers will never forget.
USA Today bestselling author, Kimberly Lang is a former ballet dancer and English teacher. She is president of the Heart of Dixie chapter of Romance Writers of America and a founding member of the The Writing Playground, a website for aspiring authors. Her forthcoming 2012 title is Redemption of a Hollywood Starlet.
Two-time RITA nominee and Romantic Times Reviewers Choice nominee, Rhonda Nelson writes hot romantic comedy for Harlequin Blaze and other Harlequin imprints. Her latest collection of Blazing Bedtime Stories comes out in October.
Bring a sack lunch. Coffee and water will be provided. No registration required.
