Small Business Lunch & Learn: "Bartering"
Small Business Lunch & Learn: "Bartering for Goods & Services"
Monday, January 7, 2013
12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
Main Library, 915 Monroe Street
Second Floor Events Room
Leveraging your business with organized barter. Purchase advertising, legal services, accounting and even office space for wholesale instead of retail. The ancient art of barter combined with the age of technology, provides huge benefits for today’s business owner.
Speaker: Susan Voiers, Tennessee Valley Barter Exchange
Susan Voiers has been a successful business owner for several years. While working as an independent contractor for a division of Southern Living, she saw professionals who had resources and others who needed them, but there was the fear of “letting go of cash”. She knew there had to be a better way and started researching barter exchanges over 10 years ago. Her own business experience, degrees in accounting, business management and marketing have come together to provide an amazing resource for Valley businesses.
Bring a sack lunch. Drinks will be provided.
