Come check out our Books Are Fun Book Fair!  This fair is a little different from the Scholastic book fair.  It has more toys and more grown up stuff.  It’s a perfect time to get started on your before Christmas shopping!

Home School Story Time - All About Sign Language

We'll have stories, songs and crafts all related to American Sign Language as well as learning library skills for home schoolers in Kindergarten through Third Grade.  Stop by Monrovia Library or call 256-489-3392 to sign up for this event.

Monrovia Friends of the Library Open House

Monrovia Friends of the Library is hosting an Open House with refreshments, door prizes and a drawing for our "Good Night Moon" quilt.  We will also have a 25 cent book sale all day on the 6th.  Celebrate with us!

Community Garden Work Day

Do you love the MPL Children's Garden? Well, if the answer's yes, all hands are needed bright and early this saturday morning! We'll have water & popsicles for volunteers, but make sure you bring your hat, sunscreen, bugspray & workgloves. Contact mplgarden [at] shahala [dot] com for more information.

Trick or Treat at the Library 2

Join the Library on October 31st, for a Spooktacular Halloween Celebration!!!  All the public services desks will be decorated for Halloween and children will be invited to go from desk to desk to "Trick or Treat".  The Youth Services department will also host crafts, fun and games, and a showing of the movie Halloweentown.  Make sure your little Trick or Treaters wear their costumes!
