Trick or Treat at the Library 1

Join the Library on October 31st, for a Spooktacular Halloween Celebration!!!  All the public services desks will be decorated for Halloween and children will be invited to go from desk to desk to "Trick or Treat".  The Youth Services department will also host some not-to-spooky Halloween stories, fun and games.  Make sure your little Trick or Treaters wear their costumes!

Creepy Critters Live Animal Show with Animal Tales

Creepy Critters focuses on those less cuddly and icky creatures whose importance is often taken for granted. This program features arachnids, insects and snakes to illustrate that such undesirable critters serve an extremely important purpose to the environment. Participants will be allowed to get “hands-on” with several animals and all should walk away with a different view of these creepy critters.  Animales on display: Tarantula (variable species), Mystery Creepy Animal, Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, Emperor Scorpion, Snake (variable species),  and Norway Rat!
