Each Tuesday, join Miss Amy for Tuesday Tales. The adventure will include stories, songs, and crafts and is best for children ages 3-5 years old.

American astronaut Captain Charles “Chuck” Baker lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first person to step foot on it. To his surprise, he finds that this planet is inhabited by little green people who are happily living in a white picket fence world reminiscent of a cheerfully innocent 1950s America, and whose only fear is that it will be overrun by alien invaders—like Chuck!

Bilingual Storytimes @ Main

Thursdays in July: we're offering a bilingual storytime at Main. 45-60 minutes, open to young children and families.

The ability to speak more than one language opens doors to new life opportunities: greater career possibilities, enhanced academic performance, and better understanding and appreciation of other cultures.

While language learning is an enriching experience for all ages, children have the most to gain from this wonderful adventure. Research shows that the best time to acquire a new language is before the age of 10. Exposing your child to language in a natural way, using games, music, and immersion techniques makes learning fun!!

  • July 15, 10:30am: French/English
  • July 22, 10:30am: Spanish/English

The bilingual storytime is open to all ages and includes a cultural craft.
