How do police use fingerprints to find the bad guys?  Does everyone have a different fingerprint?  What are some of the types of fingerprints?  Find out the answers to these questions and more at our Fingerprint Science Super Duper Science Club! This even is perfect for kids in grades 3-5. This program is part of the Community Wide Read.

Recycle Roundup for Kids

Learn how to keep our planet healthy and have fun, too, during our "Recycle Roundup" at the Madison Public Library on Monday, April 15.

3 p.m. -  "Recycle Roundup," a puppet show focusing on reducing, reusing and recycling.

4 p.m., -  Our Garden Rangers group will learn about composting and recycling through a series of hands-on activities. Please RSVP to Ms. Maggie, mallen [at] hmcpl [dot] org for the Garden Rangers program.

Spanish Storytimes

The Madison Public Library continues its once-a-month Spanish story time on Monday, March 11, at 10:30 a.m.

Special guest Ms Susana will host an all Spanish storytime with fun songs and stories on the second Monday of each month. Books and songs will be appropriate for ages 2-5. Contact Maggie Allen at mallen [at] hmcpl [dot] org or 256-461-0046 for more information.
