Celebate St. Patrick's Day with Irish Dance!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with flair! Catch one of our Irish Dancing programs at the Main and Madison Libraries.

Tuesday, March 8 @ 4:00 pm
Huntsville Public Library Auditorium

Join us for a presentation on Irish culture from the Huntsville Irish Dancers. They will present the history of the shamrock and why it's associated with St.Patrick's day, teach the audience some words in Gaelic, show the costumes and shoes used in Irish dancing and of course demonstrate the actual dance steps. This event is open for all ages.

Madison Public Library

Join us for another presentation on Irish dance from the presenters at Fitness Arts Center. They will show off some beautiful dance moves, demonstrate the costumes of Irish Dancing, and even let children touch some of the costume pieces used in the dance. After the presentation, children will be invited to make a Rainbow in a Bag, have some snacks, and play some games. This event is open for all ages.

Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre Presents: A Sneak Peek of Arthur and the Magic Sword

Today for Book Buddies, our special guest will be Alabama Youth Theatre. What fun we will have as they promote their production of Arthur and the Magic Sword!
