Monrovia Friends of the Library is sponsoring our first annual Read-A-Thon as a fund raiser for the Monrovia Library.  Saturday, March 7th will be the main reading day at the Monrovia Library.  We will have special guest readers, snacks, and prizes for all reading logs turned in.  Children are welcome to come in the pjs and bring a pillow or stuffed animal.  We'll have a fun day hanging out to read and raising money for the library.

If you can't make it on March 7th, you can read any time between Sunday, March 1 and Saturday March 14.   You can have sponsors pay you so much per minute or just make a flat donation.   If you prefer, you can just make a donation yourself.  Checks should be made payable to “Monrovia Friends of the Library.”  All donations should be turned in at the checkout desk at Monrovia Library by Monday, March 17.  Reading logs and donor sheets will be available on the Monrovia Public Library-HMCPL Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pages/Monrovia-Public-Library-HMCPL/373088086134929.
