Join us for Adult Summer Reading!
This contest is open to all adults 18+ with a valid library card from May 23 - July 18, 2026.

Each HMCPL location will have a drawing for a grand prize on July 22.

Participants can earn tickets for the drawing by:

• Filling out a bookmark with every book they read/listened to from May 23 - July 18, and return it to their home branch to receive a ticket for each book read. Each title read/listened to is worth one (1) ticket with a maximum of ten (10) tickets. Tickets will be received when the bookmark is turned in.

• Bookmarks will be available at the kickoff and at each branch.

• Attending an Adult program or event at any branch is worth one (1) ticket

• Accompanying their child or teen to any library program or event at any branch is worth one (1) ticket.

• Attending the Adult Summer Reading Kick-Off Party on May 23, 2026, is worth five (5) tickets.

All tickets must be returned to the patron’s home branch by July 18 to be entered into the drawing.
