Services we offer

Blind & Print Disabled

The Subregional Library for the Blind and Print Disabled is located in the Main branch of the Huntsville- Madison County Public Library. It is also part of a Library of Congress administered nationwide network of libraries serving persons who cannot use conventional printed materials.

Our BookMobile visits multiple locations around Madison County, providing mobile access to best sellers, DVDs, music CDs, children's materials, and large print materials.

We perform several types of community outreach, including providing materials to Head Start classrooms and local nursing homes.

Community Partners

HMCPL shares space in the Main Library building downtown with several community partners, including the Madison County Tax Assessor's Office, and the Madison County Records Office.

We have computers available for public use at our branches, and a regular schedule of computer classes.
