The Studio: A Maker Experience

Welcome to the Studios at your local library! The Studio has eight locations- the Downtown Huntsville Public Library, the Cavalry Hill Public Library, the Gurley Public Library, the Madison Public Library, the Monrovia Public Library, the North Huntsville Public Library, the South Huntsville Public Library, and the Triana Public Library.

The Studio is free and open to use by any library cardholder. We have a variety of machines and tools. Check out our calendar for monthly programs in the Studio.

UPLOAD 3D PRINT JOBS ONLINE

Use our on-demand submission form on this website to submit 3D print jobs that can be later picked up at a Studio location.

Equipment

AKAI Beat Pad

Beat pad with volume controls, sound dials, and 16 pads for use in sound editing software for sound design and music production.

AKAI MIDI Keyboard

Piano keyboard that also includes 8 pads for additional sounds and plugs into the computer for use in sound editing software.

Bernina Artista 200

This machine can use digital emboidery files to produce complex designs on fabric. Includes multi-size embroidery frame set. This machine can use .art files, only. Various colors of thread are available as supplies last. Tear-away stablilizer provided.

Bindomatic Flex Thermal Bookbinder

This machine uses heat to bind books using adhesive strips in a style predominately used for paperbacks. Thermal strips are available for purchase, but patrons must provide their cover and interior pages.
