Library Foundation

A city cannot be great without a great Library. The Huntsville Library Foundation's mission is to help the Huntsville Madison County Public Library be great. As advocates for the Library, we raise awareness and funds to purchase books and other resources that the Library uses to inspire readers and improve our community's quality of life.

The Huntsville Library Foundation is a fundraising, advisory board which meets bimonthly to lead the Library toward growth and expansion. A voluntary board of 24 community leaders established in 1986, their duties reflect their strong support of the Library's purposes. Utilizing fundraising, advocacy, governmental bodies, Library support groups, grant writing, endowment funds, and planned giving, the HLF creates new avenues for our Library's development in the future.
